Super Tuesday

Today people in 22 states went to the polls to tell their party who should be the nominee for November’s general election. I live in a house with four of us guys – we are from similar backgrounds, but the four of us voted for four different candidates.

No one is predicting what will happen in the general election yet, but I decided I would. First of all, I predict:

Republican Ticket: John McCain & Mike Huckabee

McCain Huckabee ticket

Democratic Ticket: Hillary Clinton & John Edwards

Clinton Edwards ticket

In November’s general election, I predict the popular vote will be McCain 52%, Clinton 49%, with McCain winning 292 out of 538 electoral votes.

So, my prediction: John McCain will be the 45th president of the United States.

McCain prez 45

We’ll see if I’m right.

Matthew, aren’t you letting your former residence in Arizona influence you a little too much? But I hope your’re right.

Holy cow Matthew, if the results are 52/49 (in either direction), I’m moving to Israel.

Didn’t John Edwards out before the Super Tuesday primary?

  4. Matthew Says:

Carmen: Yes, John Edwards quit before Super Tuesday, but I’m saying I predict Hillary will choose him as her running mate.
